Resacryl

Applications
Same as GIUNTOPLASTO. Recommended in zones with high thermic excursions. Indicated for tightness against desert sand and motes. Ideal for light plates, translucid sheets, being softer than the GIUNTOPLASTO type. Support for roller shutter boxes placed against wall, tightness joint in canalizations. Is applied in the refrigeration segments and for aesthetic reasons (it does not dirty). Is also realized in a pre-compressed type for a quick and easy laying.

Characteristics: Flexible expanded Polyurethane foam treated with a particular mixture on acrylic resin basis. Excellent durability in time. The properties of the material remain unaltered after various ageing tests. Is not attacked by birds - non toxid - non putrescible - inoxidable -soundabsorbing - antivibrating. Best resistance to soluble salts, including the bivalent ones, to X (ultraviolet) rays, chemical agents, alkali and greases. Permanent elasticity and plasticity, selfextinguishing when compressed between two supports.

IMPORTANT: RESACRYL has to be applicated compressed.
The degree of compression is relative to the utilization desired.

INDICATIVE TABLE OF THE UTILIZATIONS IN CONFORMITY OF THE COMPRESSION PERCENTAGE:

10% compression: soundproofing - air - dust
50% compression: thermic insulation - wind
83% compression: weatherproofing
